This is a novel wrapped in worship. Why a novel? Because as novels do, this album tells a story. Each song represents a chapter of human experience responding to God in careful worship. Worship, in essence, is non-musical. Songs are tools for something greater than singing. Without many external indications, worship is something that is stirred from within. It is not simply programmed or motivated; it is our willful response to who God is and what he does.
Each song was written, composed and recorded by amateur musicians from a college campus ministry. We hope the simplicity of these songs does not insult intelligence or artistry, but may be used as a musical resource for those seeking songs they may attach to.
